What is Crossfit?




Welcome to New Braunfels CrossFit! THE FIRST licensed and certified affiliate of CrossFit, Inc in New Braunfels.  NB CrossFit has been a part of the community since 2009.

Our facility is equipped with everything you need to do a CrossFit workout – we are a CROSSFIT-ONLY facility.  WE are NOT a commercial gym. WE ARE CROSSFIT!  

We run, jump, climb, push, pull, lift, press, squat, carry, throw and catch.  We use body weight, medicine balls, free weights, jump ropes, kettlebells and pull up bars.  We sweat, spit, cuss, yell, and grunt.  We do this utilizing our entire body!  Every workout involves compound, multi-joint exercises.  From the explosive power lifts found in olympic weightlifting to the strength benefits found in powerlifting and the balance/coordination/agility of rudimentary gymnastics.  We incorporate the methods, principles and concepts of what works.

At New Braunfels CrossFit, there are no expensive machines, televisions, spas, saunas, mirrors, cup holders or smoothie bars.  Our methods elicit teamwork, camaraderie, motivation, focus, family and a sense of belonging.  We create athletes that are more fit, healthier people overall.

CrossFit is a fitness program that is fun, challenging and extremely effective. Our workouts are scalable to everyone - from elite athletes to moms of three. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.  Our workouts will improve all aspects of your fitness including strength, endurance, stamina, agility, balance, speed, power, flexibility, coordination and accuracy.
