Single-modality day today with the Hang Squat Clean. For some people, going from the hang can feel a little easier. This is because it eliminates the first pull off the ground, so they have less to think about and physically do. For this reason, it is a good movement to use as a tool to help people get under some load they may or not be able to do from the ground. Of course, the goal is to lift more with the full movement, but if some people aren’t there yet, that’s OK, as long as they are working toward that and don’t remain complacent about being able to lift more from the hang.
