What brought you to Crossfit?
Andrew:-I’ve always been active my entire life. I grew up skateboarding like it was the only thing that existed. Once I got older and bigger I found a I had a knack for football. I played all through high school but wasn’t interested in college football. I had heard about CrossFit from some friends who had been doing it for a while so I looked for a gym near me and found CrossFit San Marcos
Logan: I found CrossFit in 2008 while I was on active duty. I wanted something to get in shape for deployment. I didn't realize that I was finding something that would change my life forever.
What do you do outside the gym for fun?
Andrew:I ride my bike and motorcycle as much as I can and have a group of guys I can do both with. Otherwise I enjoy spending time with friends and being social
Logan: I like being outside. Hiking, backpacking, kayaking or biking and also spending time with my wife and daughter.
What's your favorite food?
Logan: Hawaiian Pizza. People say no pineapple on pizza but it is so good.
What are you thankful for today?
Andrew: My health and the opportunities ahead.
Logan: The opportunity to do this job and make a difference in people's lives.
What's your favorite type of exercise?
Andrew:Kettlebell Complexes or weighted carries
Logan: Chest, next question. I've always really enjoyed the technical side of weightlifting but in the last year I've really come to appreciate bodyweight and gymnastic exercises.
What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?
Andrew:I’m a relatively good drummer
Logan:I'm really good at finding obscurities on the internet. Have a question? Give me 10 mins and I'll find it.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Andrew:When I was a kid I wanted to be the garbage man and ride on the back of the truck or fly F-14 Tomcats.Now I want to be a great health coach and continue to make my gym successful
Logan: My mom told me I used to say I wanted to be a Rodeo Clown or a Garbage man. But now I get to make jokes while I coach and I take the trash out every day so I guess dreams do come true.
Name one fitness goal that you have.
Andrew:Workout 4x a week for at least one hour. This has been tough to do while trying to finish school and run a business

Beach or Mountains and why?
Andrew:Snowboarding and mountain biking are my two favorite activities so, mountains
Logan: Mountains. I like climbing all day and really working for an amazing view.
What are you most proud of? A life accomplishment, a
relationship, and an athletic feat.
Andrew: I am most proud of starting a business and working for myself.
Logan: This is quite the question. My life accomplishment is how far I've come in the last 5 years. 5 years ago I was working 3 jobs and going to school full time. I would have never thought that I would have an awesome job like this and an amazing wife and daughter. I think relationship wise I'm most proud of my marriage. Having a wife that supports me through all of the endeavors has been amazing. An athletic feat was my 2015 Thru-hike where I hiked 2,189.2 miles in a single summer. It was a life-long dream and achieving it has only sent my life on the path upwards to better things.
